Our Processing Sites

Chester
Situated south of Chester on the Welsh border, our Chester site is the home of Meadow Foods' fat and cream business.
The site was acquired by Meadow Foods in 1995 and currently occupies 10 acres and employs around 80 people. The processing facility is accredited to BRC Global standard, ISO9000 and ISO14000.
At the site we produce cream, butter, anhydrous milk fat (AMF) and skimmed concentrate.
On the same site is out head office, which employs around 20 people and is home to our accounts, administration and farmer payments departments.
Holme on Spalding Moor
Our Holme on Spalding Moor site is home to our Sugar Division and is situated on the outskirts of Holme on Spalding Moor village in East Yorkshire. The site was acquired by Meadow Foods in 2002 and produces our sweetened condensed milk and chocolate crumb. The facility is accredited with the BRC Global Standard and ISO9000. The site is 13 acres and employs 75 people.
Nene Valley
Situated just outside Peterborough, our Nene Valley site is the home of Meadow Foods' Fresh Division and is the newest addition to the Meadow Foods family. Acquired in 2009 from Dairy Farmers of Britain it has further added to the portfolio of products Meadow Foods can offer its customers.
Nene Valley produces fresh and cultured cream products such as homogenized milk, cream, fromage frais, crême fraîche and a range of yoghurts in packing from 15kg bags to 1,000kg pallecons fromage frais, bulk packaged cream, Greek, bio and low fat yoghurts and milks. The processing facility occupies 2.5 acres and employs 57 people.
